Bondage by Family Guy

One of my favorite shows is Family Guy. I love the spoofs and references to pop culture, but more importantly I love how Seth MacFarlane boldly chooses to add references to BDSM in his cartoons as well. I think the most famous scene was with the “banana” safe word, and let’s not forget the various conversational references to bondage and humiliation. I think that due to his genious and delivery he’s able to get away with this shenanigans, and I for one enjoy that. I figured today, as I’m gearing up for Bound Los Angeles I would take a break and indulge in one of my favorite vices; the boob tube. I just can’t help myself, I just have to share with you my joy over seeing blatant and hilarious references to something so taboo as BDSM in such a popular show! And here are some happy visuals for you 🙂

The toys from the famous "Banana Safeword" scene in "Let's Go To The Hop" ep#21

From Stewie's dream sequence in "Peter's Two Dads" ep# 90

This is a hilarious scene from "PTV" where Peter blasts the FCC and censorship

The last scene in "Peter Griffin - Father, Husband... Brother?" ep# 42

However the show itself merely makes verbal and visual references to BDSM and whatnot, they don’t actually show any fetish sex or anything like that, hello it’s a family show after all 😉 Well leave it to the guys over at Drawn Sex to remedy the situation and create explicit visuals combining Family Guy and their obvious passion for BDSM and bondage 🙂

  1. Family Guy…yes…an interesting brand of humor. I didn’t think I’d like to watch a cartoon. They have some FAR OUT interesting humor in their episodes. Always thought she could do better though…
